Dear Friend,

Because you know and understand the important work that PARC does, I'm writing to ask you to be a Team Captain for PARC's 13th Annual Walk-a-thon on October 5, 2013 at Norton Park in Plainville. Since you're someone with a lot of connections in the community, I personally think you'd be great at this!

We're looking for captains to recruit 3 - 4 friends to join them in collecting pledges for and participating in PARC's Walk-a-thon. Participants might be friends, coworkers, family members, anyone who might enjoy a walk in the park on a beautiful fall day. We ask that all teams set a fundraising goal of at least $200, but feel free to raise more!  The $25.00 registration fee for this event, is deducted from the donations you receive. 
 
Our hope is that this will both raise awareness of PARC's programs and activities among a greater number of people, as well as increase our fundraising proceeds. Is this something you'd be willing to help us out with?
