CampTrumbull's a dynamic, fun summer camp for young people with developmental disabilities, ages 5-21. We provide a full schedule of exciting and educational activities, which are age and ability appropriate and which utilize as many community resources as possible.

Children from the Plainville community and surrounding towns come both for Camp Trumbull’s summer session and for February and April school vacation week sessions.

Weekly field trips are taken to places such as Imagine Nation children’s museum, Build-a-Bear workshop and the Children’s Science Museum in West Hartford.

Crafts, swimming and plenty of outdoor play are favorite activities among the Campers. Parents and educators appreciate that the Camp offers continuity of educational and social interactions for students, and important relationships are developed with campers and counselors.
